Celebrating Reading Month
The scholars and staff of Cooke Stem Academy celebrated Reading Month, Women's History Month and 313 Day all in one day. A host of Detroit's own influential women volunteered as guest readers visiting every class, gifting every student with a book and other treats. The day also included spoken word performances by our own students. Overall, it was an inspiring day of storytelling and student achievement.
